Birubi Point has been sanctioned as an Aboriginal Place by the NSW Government, ensuring it is protected.
Port Stephens Council is developing a Management Plan for the Birubi Point Aboriginal Place and is conducting a community consultation on the plans which will go on public exhibition at Birubi Point Surf Life Saving Club on Saturday 12th August 2017.
Representatives from PSC, the Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council and National Parks & Wildlife Services will be in the surf club Clubroom from 10am-2pm to answer any questions and encourage feedback from the community.

Bruce Gair, Director of the PRD Port Stephens, kindly came over to the Club yesterday and presented our President Rob Duff with the sponsorship cheque. The new PRD Nationwide banner is also attached and ready to go for the weekend on our patrol trailer.
