Birubi Educates Kids From The Bush

Wednesday 11 Dec a group from a Special Needs class at Singleton High were hosted at the club by our Chief Training Officer, Steve Fogwill.

A great experience had by all!!! A group of students from Singleton High came to Birubi 11 Dec to learn a little about the "big dam", called the beach.

On hand for the club was our Chief Training Officer, Steve Fogwill. Steve passed on his valuable knowledge relating to rescue equipment and signage, and most importantly, how to stay safe when visiting the coast.

From the photos we can see the kids had a great time, getting familiar with boards and tubes.

Well done Steve, the knowledge passed onto these kids will make a difference when it comes to these kids visiting the coast and staying safe.

The class consisted of:

Taylor, Lila, Brodie, Duke, Nathan, Trinity. With teacher Chloe, and teachers aid Jayne.

Here's the fabulous feedback from teacher Chloe:

"Thank you once again for such an amazing day! Honestly, Jayne and I were so impressed with how you presented everything to the students"

Great work Steve!!!!
