Shade Structure Steelwork Goes Up

16Dec: Steelwork for the shade structure has been assembled/installed on site.

An early start for Norm Barnes, on site at the club at 7am to supervise the installation of the steelwork for our shade structure that will provide much needed shade for:

  1. Our patrolling members.
  2. Nippers.
  3. Bar patrons.

Once completed this will be a great addition to the club. Funding was via the NSW Government grants system specifically for surf clubs.

This has been a long time in the making, the DA going in 2 years ago. Thanks to Norm for running with it to completion(nearly). The final stage is the shade material installation, which will happen Monday 13Jan25.

So more installation pics here.
