Team 16 Ready To Assist

2 near drownings down the beach saw team 16 ready to assist.

Around 2pm, 15Dec team 16 received notice of two near drowned victims heading to the club by 4 wheel drive from way down the beach. Team 16 readied equipment to assist, including resus equipment. An ambulance was called, on arrival the 2 male patients were handed over. Luckily the 2 didn't require transportation to hospital and were released by the ambo's after being checked.

Well done team 16 for being "treatment ready" when notified of the incoming patients.

This incident is a reminder to all visitors to our beach, the safest place to enter the water is between the flags, please spread the word to family and friends, especially visitors to the area that are unfamiliar with our beach.
